With over 24 years in the media production industry, I've produced several (well over a dozen) award winning commercials and campaigns across several mediascapes; radio, print, TV and digital media including the coveted “Best in Show” Addy award, as well as "Best Of Film, Video and Sound" Addy in 2020.
The most notable and recent project as the Barbados unit production supervisor for the 2021 Netflix Original number 1 series worldwide smash hit, Outer Banks Season 2 and 3, speaks to my ability to handle large scale, multi-faceted projects with great attention to detail in a large team setting.
Having founded and established my media production company Crucial Productions as one of Barbados’ leaders in digital content production and secured its place at the top of all SEO searches in its categories, I can bring this same level of success and competence to others.
My diverse creative background, organizational skills, budget management, passion for learning coupled with extensive technical training and experience in video and audio multimedia content development, make my skill set particularly unique.

“We arrived in Barbados in March as the global pandemic was taking hold and the world was beginning to close down. We were the last British crew to fly out of Gatwick, and when we arrived everyone else at Bridgetown airport was getting out as fast as they could.
We forgot our trepidation in an instant as soon as Phil Archer appeared. Pandemic? What Pandemic? Phil safely steered us through an immaculately orchestrated celebrity history shoot, in a buoyant atmosphere of calm productivity.
All our dealings in the run up were equally clear and well organised, with great suggestions for locations, first class contacts, creative ideas, and all paperwork taken care of.
And that’s not all. Phil is also a brilliant drone operator and pulled off the feat of shooting beautiful material while never holding up the first unit camera or getting in the way. He also offered follow up shots free of charge if we needed anything else.
